Great location just off the Orange Loop. Many eateries and shops around. Centrally located a block off the boardwalk, so it's great if you like to go from place to place like we do. The hotel itself had above average decor. The staff were really nice and helpful. It's not a gigantic hotel, so there is easy access from parking to your room which is relieving. I look forward to staying here in the future.

Very clean and convenient hotel to the boardwalk and Atlantic City casinos. Service at the front desk was excellent and room was impeccably clean despite showing its age. Only negative is the hotel is not in the best part of town at night, but the entrance locks at midnight so I never felt unsafe.

We went there at the end of September. There were not a lot of tourists in Atlantic City. Moreover, there was a storm coming. It's not too far away from the boardwalk. I think it's okay to walk when peak season but not the time when we went there. The room was big enough compared to other hotels we stayed for our trip. The room was comfortable until we tried to rest. I kept smelling musty smell when I was on the bed. Finally, we figured the smell was from all six pillows. I used one with less smell. The other five pillows had a strong smell, so my husband did not use any. It was late, so we did not call to have the pillow exchanged. The parking was free, but the layout was weird. We needed to ask the hotel to find the car owner behind us to move their car before we could leave the hotel. Overall, the hotel was okay. The front desk people were nice and friendly. The main reason I gave 3 stars is that we did not have a good night sleep due to the pillows.

My choice of lodging has problems with smoking and a broken A/C. So my mum found Howard Johnson. The hotel and staff are nice, there's parking at the site, a pool and restaurant for breakfast nearby. For lunch/dinner, there's Hong Kong House or you can drive a bit further for the casino area or boulevard. The bed were comfy and fit 2 of us adults in each one (had 2 beds). The only downside is that the area outside is a mess and puts you on alert. Other than that, the accommodations are fine by me.

Stayed for the weekend and first thing I walked in and there was a cockroach on the desk. Also brought some home, not happy. Also payed 900 for a room listed with 2 queen beds that were full beds. Asked for a fridge, had to call the next morning because it still didn't come, but they did bring it up. Located right in crackhead central, also. Don't leave the room by yourself if you are a woman. Definitely would not recommend if you aren't ok with motel 8 style rooms that are overpriced.

The outdated condition of the hotelÂ¿the rooms & hallway is in need of updating and overall refurbishing. Dirty carpets in halls and rooms and the location is not desirable for families with children. I hesitated in bringing the grandchildren there.

Don’t waste your money. This hotel had drug addicts all over outside. We watch a man pull a knife out on someone across the street by the store. The man that walked in before us blew his marijuana smoke into the lobby. Our room smelled like marijuana. The toilet was clogged. Our room was right near the pool and it was very loud. We stayed about 2 hours and decided we were just going to go back home. When we checked out the clerk didnt ask any questions as to why we were leaving just said okay and gave us our car key. Atlantic City is nasty and a waste of time. I do not recommend.
